Just when you think everyone working under advertising at Facebook and Google has been treated to a common sense bypass I get a lovely message like this.
Thank you for writing in. Hope you’re doing well!
I’m Jaya, from the Google AdWords Support Team and I’ll be assisting you with your queries today. First of all, I am extremely sorry about the delay in getting back to you. We’ve been experiencing some technical glitches in the last couple of days and this has resulted in delayed response to our email requests. Thank you so much for your patience during this time.
I see that you had written in with your concerns regarding the suspension of your AdWords account CID ***, I have some great news to share with you in this regard.
YOUR ADWORDS ACCOUNT CID *** HAS BEEN UNSUSPENDED
James, Google takes violations of AdWords policy very seriously. Your account was suspended when our system determined that it was in violation of one or more of our policies. However, after careful review, AdWords Specialists have determined that your account is no longer in violation, and it has now been reinstated.
I am pleased to let you know that your account CID *** is active and operational again. On reviewing your account, I’ve also confirmed that your active ads are up and running, accruing clicks and impressions on our network. To confirm whether or not your ad is showing, you can run a keyword diagnosis. Learn more about keyword diagnosis at: http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/answer.py?hl=en_GB&answer=177620
Thank you so much for your continued patience and understanding in this matter. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this suspension may have caused. Hope I’ve been of any help to you.
REFUND OF YOUR PREPAID BALANCE
James, as confirmed above, everything seems to be fine with your account now and your ads are serving normally. At Google AdWords, each and every customer is extremely valuable to us and we are dedicated to provide our valued customers with the most effective advertising experience. We would love to have you on board, advertising your business however, if you’d still like to request for a refund, please do not hesitate to write back to me and I’ll forward your request to the appropriate team.
I am looking forward to hear from you, James. Please do reply to this email confirming that the issue is resolved so that we can close the same. Also, let me know if there is anything else that I can do for you, I’ll be just an email away more than happy to help.
Take care. Have a nice day ahead of you. 🙂
The Google AdWordsTeam
Jaya what a nice name. I never did find out why they suspended it in the first place but losing my retargeting lists would have been a pain.
Anyone else had a similar situation with the big advertising networks?
